it’s been a while man-i-cute! i’m hoping to update a bit more frequently now, here’s a design I did on my roommate. It’s basically following this tutorial from the beauty department but a bit more dramatic. I taped off some of the nail so the natural nail shows through as well.nails nail art geometric nails make up make-up negative space man-i-cute /
a-lovely-afterthought asked: One of my biggest nail painting pet peeves comes from the fact that I can't keep a clean edge around my cuticle and I always end of with polish all around where I painted. Any tips on keeping it clean? I've tried using pointy q-tips and remover but maybe I wait to long to wipe it? HALP!
I usually will paint a nail, then do clean up right after i paint that nail. I use an elf concealer brush (see below) that I got for a dollar at target. It’s short but fat so it holds lot of acetone. My other tip is to use 100% acetone, it’s more effect at removing polish and requires less scrubbing. I hope that helps!
